‘Meet The End’ is a fantastic new track and video from Cuffed Up, an LA three-piece who take a lot of influence from UK post-punk and rock. Their music is driven by urgent, distorted guitars and chunky bass lines, propelled by punchy drums. But their unique edge owes a lot to the contrast between this British-influenced sound and the band’s dual vocalists, whose accents have a thick American twang and confident sass. Cuffed Up have also just dropped their debut album, All You Got, via Hit The North Records. “I really don’t even see it as a debut record,” they say. “I see it as a snapshot of the beginning of what we’re able to put together, which is really exciting.” Give it a listen. -Dan Peeke
